The iANT213 is part of Extronics’ iANT2xx range of simple apparatus antennas. It is a rugged omni directional antenna with WiFi and GSM options.
The iANT213 has been assessed by Extronics engineers as meeting the international intrinsic safety standards for simple apparatus. This means it’s safe to use in hazardous areas when connected to a suitable certified wireless device with an intrinsically safe RF output, such as the iWAP107 or other solutions using the iSOLATE501.
The iANT213 antenna cannot be used in the hazardous area when connected to an RF source that is not intrinsically safe.
The iANT213 comes complete with a 316L stainless steel mounting bracket, making it easy to install and position.
The iANT213 is optimised for use in WLAN installations in the 2.4GHz/5.8GHz spectrum for IEEE802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless networks or 2.4GHz/5.8GHz wireless mesh Ethernet networks and 900/1800MHz GSM applications.
The iANT213 can be used both indoors and outdoors. It’s made from durable weather-resistant material, including an outdoor weatherproof N-type connector. Rated to IP67 and with a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, the iANT213 is suitable for most applications.
The iANT213 offers a gain of 4-6dBi depending on version chosen. The omni-directional pattern is ideally suited for use in applications requiring good general coverage.
